Download and wallet creation are free. On-chain transfers pay network fees. Swaps may add service fees shown in the app.
What does self-custody mean?
You hold the keys. The provider does not custody your assets. That avoids exchange custody risk — if you lose the seed phrase, the funds cannot be recovered.
Is it the same as Bitget exchange?
No. Bitget is a centralized exchange. Bitget Wallet is a separate self-custody product with a different account and custody model.
